Monthly meetings are held at
Holtwhites Sports & Social Club,

Holtwhites Hill,
Enfield,
EN2 0RN.

These meetings, with guest speakers on a range of health-related and general interest topics, are friendly and informative. Members spend an enjoyable and therapeutic couple of hours among people who have had similar problems to their own. There is no joining fee for Heart Throbs but members are asked to pay £3 for admission on the night.

Speakers at the meetings range from medical consultants and GPs to hospital pharmacists, nurses and fitness trainers along with an array of interesting people talking about general interest topics. Question and answer sessions are always lively and there is usually the opportunity to have a word with the speaker privately afterward.

Meetings start at 7pm and are held on the first Thursday of every month (except January and August when there is no meeting). There are normally 30 – 40 members in attendance and the more popular meetings can achieve up to 60 attendees.
