Heart Throbs hosts well attended exercise sessions with professional trainers specialising in cardiac rehabilitation exercises. Classes are open to men and women and the ages of the exercise group range from members in their early 40’s through to those in their 90’s. All new members are made welcome. The sessions are designed to extend and strengthen your heart rate but are generally light hearted and at any time you can step out and take a breather if things are getting too strenuous for you.
There are eight one-hour exercise sessions held each week at Holtwhites Sports & Social Club and one at St Stephen’s Church. In addition we offer two exercise at home classes via Zoom.
Heart Throbs Lite is a class designed to be challenging but a less strenuous class for our older members who are struggling to keep up and for those who wish to come back more gently after their heart trauma. The instructor is Hara and the class is held at Holtwhites on Mondays at 9am.
You can join any session to suit your diary and attend as many times as you like. All memberships are paid by standing order with one of the following options:
